More Donations for Low-Income Families in Jaffna Peninsula

In view of facilitating needy families in Jaffna Peninsula, Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna organized another donation programme on 07 June 2019. Upon a request by Commander Security Force - Jaffna, Major General Dharshana Hettiarrachchi, donors from 82 Group of Ananda College - Colombo contributed to construct 18 Toilet facilities to the needy people.

At the first stage of the donation programme, one house which was constructed by the troops belong to 2 Sri Lanka Light Infantry, was handed over to a low-income family during a ceremony organized at Kadduwan. Further, 18 Toilet facilities which were constructed by the troops under the supervision of 51 Division, were handed over to 18 deserving families during a occasion on the same day.

General Officer Commanding 51 Division, Donors from 82 Group of Ananda College - Colombo, Senior Officers, Army Personnel and Residents were present at the occasions.
