Celebrations of the World Children's Day

Deserving students of the Urani Primary School at Mailady were donated with school accessories including stationery and school items on Tuesday 01st October 2019. This was carried out in compliance to a concept initiated by Major Chathurika Bombuwla, the Commanding Officer of the 7th Battalion Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps (7 SLAWC) to celebrate the World Children's Day with the under privileged children in Mailady Area.

The programme was organized and donations were made by the 7 SLAWC. Commanding Officer, Officers, Principle and Teachers of the school and a number of Military personnel were present during the event.
