Upon the instructions and guidance of Commander Security Forces - Jaffna Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, 521 Brigade under 52 Division organized a progarmme to celebrate the elders day 2019 at St Luke's Methodist Elders Home, Putur on Monday 01st October 2019.

Army troops provided lunch and distributed gift packs to 25 elders in St Luke's Methodist elders home during the programme which concluded with a musical extravaganza.

Commanding Officer 1 Vijayabahu Infantry Battalion, Senior Army Officers, Troops and the staff at St Luke's Methodist elders home were present at the occasion.
